This recipe is SO easy to make. I love making it myself because the taste is amazing especially compared to store bought brands. Because this Paleo DIY Almond Milk is homemade, you also get to control the ingredients, allowing it to be healthier and sustainable.

This beverage is easier thank you think to make. All you do is soak the almonds overnight, rinse them off, blend with water in a blender and then strain. Seriously, anyone can make almond milk. Its super simple.

I love using this as a creamer! It is thick and creamy which complements coffee SO well! If you’re looking for an easy latte to try this Copycat Starbucks Paleo Flat White is delish!

Almonds have many benefits to them. They are high in antioxidants, high in vitamin E, and even have blood sugar + blood pressure benefits. Soaking your almonds before making them into a milk not only softens them so you get a creamy milk texture, but it is also optimum to consume them at this state to absorb all the nutrients. Soaking almonds removes tannins, which inhibits nutrient absorption. Essentially, soaking almonds will allow your body to absorb more vitamins and minerals, as well as stimulate enzymatic activity that can help improve digestion.

Making your own milk is not only SO much tastier but also cheaper than store bought brands. I recommend always making your own as it is going to be a more sustainable option on a tight budget. The cheapest I have found almonds is through Costco and their Kirkland brand. However, if you are looking for an organic version Thrive Market is the best option. Either way, you are reaping many benefits of making this milk yourself.

This almond milk is just two ingredients, water and almonds. So this is perfect for any diet or lifestyle. This recipe is Paleo, Keto, Whole30, Vegan, and making it perfect for healthy, clean eating. So make yourself a glass and enjoy!

Wondering what to do with all the extra almond pulp? I have a recipe to turn it into Almond Meal.

As always, I’d love to hear how you enjoyed this recipe so don’t forget to come back and let me know!

  1. Pour raw almonds into a bowl. Pour water over them until the almonds are covered. Cover the bowl and allow them soak overnight.
  2. After the almonds have soaked, rinse them well using a strainer.
  3. Pour the rinsed almonds into a blender or food processor. Add 6 cups of water and blend until the almonds have completely broken down.
  4. Strain the almond milk through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth and pour into a wide container or bowl to catch all the milk. (I used a wide liquid measuring cup.)
  5. Set almond pulp aside and feel free to use it to make almond flour.
  6. Pour milk into serving container. Keep the top sealed and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
