Ribs are amazing. Say something bad about ribs. I DARE you! My husband and I have cooked ribs a dozen different ways, however, we just keep coming back to this recipe. It is always our favorite! These Paleo Grilled Sriracha Ribs are subtly sweet with a tangy kick, and only take one hour on the grill!
St. Louis is my hometown and we are known for our BBQ. Authentic St. Louis style ribs have a sweet BBQ sauce. Unfortunately, I’m just not a fan of those super sweet sauces. However, if you like it, great! Use a sweet BBQ sauce to smother these ribs. In my recipe I use a layer of coconut sugar to coat these ribs, then, I smother them with sriracha sauce. This give the ribs a perfect hint of sweetness as well as a light kick from the sriracha. It is DELISH!

This is the perfect summer dinner. I love that I don’t have to heat up my house with the oven, and it is a pretty hands-off recipe, so you don’t have to be glued to the hot grill. I think the best part of this recipe is it only takes 1 hour to cook! When I make ribs in the oven, it is always twice that cooking time. I love how quick dinner can come together this way!
TIPS FOR THE COOKING PROCESS:
The directions I have for this recipe is for a gas grill. You can still make this recipe using a smoker or even a charcoal grill, simply change the cooking time.
In this recipe I used Steve’s PaleoGoods, Sriracha Sauce. I LOVE it! On amazon you can find a pack of three for a discounted price. I highly recommend it! However, if you prefer a sweeter or classic BBQ sauce on your ribs, use it! Use this recipe as a guide and customize it to your liking.
Ribs can get expensive. I’m pretty lucky, my local grocery store has sales on ribs pretty often. I got this 2.5 pound slab of ribs for $7! SCORE! To save money, always look for sales. However, you need to be flexible as well. These ribs are St. Louis Style. However, Baby Back Ribs work great too. Either cut will give you tender, juicy, ribs. Just pick the sale item. And if it is a really good deal, stock up and freeze them!

I am obsessed with sriracha and these grilled ribs would be a great way to use one of my favorite sauces.

Hello ribs! Oh my goodness. I am DROOLING. This is a genius way to cook ribs. I bet they get a little smoky flavor from the BBQ too. I often make them this way sealing in foil in the oven on a low temp. I’ll give this recipe a try! Great flavors.
Amy
I normally cook ribs in the oven too! We just got a new grill this summer so it’s beef fun trying out our favorite things on the grill! Let me know if you try it! 🙂

These paleo ribs look great! We love making ribs in the summer and like to stay refined sugar free so the coconut sugar is a must for us!

Ribs have got to be the family favorite — especially if they’re spicy. The sriracha would absolutely make them taste heavenly. Like you, we are always on the lookout for sales on them. Then we freeze them and wait until the craving for ribs start (which is often). Will show Hubby this recipe — hope he’ll get the hint!!
