I don’t mean to come off c r a z y but this is the BEST burger I have ever had! Paleo or not you’re going to freaking love this!

The steps to make this are so simple and worth every piece of time because this flavor-popping burger is to-die-for!

I have the perfect combo of pan seared chicken, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, my Garlic Chive Aioli and homemade Paleo Buns! This burger isn’t like any other Paleo burger— it’s soft, it holds its contents, it tastes amazing and you feel like you’re eating out at a burger joint!

What You’ll Need:

Coconut oil for greasing pan
2 medium Yellows Onion
10 oz Baby Bella Mushrooms, sliced
1 lb Chicken Cutlets
Paprika to taste
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Bacon *optional
Aioli from this recipe:Garlic Chive Aioli
Buns from this recipe:Real Deal Paleo Buns

How to Prepare:

  • Thinly slice the onions and then in a skillet over medium-low heat slowly sauté the onions. Stir every few minutes The process usually takes me about 20-30 minuets. *By cooking the onions slowly you are going to be able to bring out the caramelized flavor without having to add in any sugar without sacrificing flavor.

  • Set onions aside and sauté mushrooms over med-high heat until soft.
  • While I’m cooking the onions and mushrooms I cook the chicken cutlets. I like to use a cast iron pan but any skillet will do. Use a little coconut oil for greasing and place the chicken cutlets on pan on medium heat.
  • Sprinkle the chicken with salt, pepper and paprika and flip every couple minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.

  • Now it’s time to build your burger! Build it how you like (I feel that these chicken cutlets fit perfectly if you cut them in half followed by topping it with the onions, a fresh slice of bacon, and mushrooms. And don’t forget to smother it with my delicious garlic-chive Aioli and you’ll want to use the my bun recipe so you don’t have to eat a naked burger! 🙂

Enjoy the BEST chicken burger!
