I am almost a little embarrased to share this recipe with you considering how basic it is. But then I thought, how could I NOT share this recipe with you! IT’S AMAZING!
THIS is how you get real, fall-off-the-bone chicken! It is magnificent!
Slow-cookers are wonderful. Cooking these legs slowly allows them to heat up gradually enough to where they are sill going to keep those juices intact and literally fall right off the bone!
In this recipe I purchase a large family pack of chicken. So realistically, you can serve this to a large family or for guests. This makes great leftovers as well and it couldn’t be easier to heat back up. Simply turn your slowcooker on low for about an hour to reheat. If you don’t want to make this much chicken you can still use a small pack of legs and the dish will be amazing! Also, you can do any other cut of chicken and get comparable results.
If you are a frequent reader, you have probably noticed how much of a fan I am of Steve’s Paleo Goods. I use their products all the time to simplify my paleo journey. (This is not a sponsored post by the way–I just love them.) I used the Peach BBQ Sauce in this recipe. The sauce really does all the work to create this simple yet delicious recipe.
This is a 2 ingredient recipe at its simplest. You can feel free to stop here or you can garnish your chicken with a few extras to really give it a pop and bring out the peach flavor. After the chicken has cooked I garnish it with fresh basil and peaches. Combining the BBQ Chicken with the fresh, cool peach creates this euphoria in your mouth with every bite! Seriously, try it!
I know how much our family loves coming to the table enjoying this simple and tasty meal and am happy you can now too!

- 1 pack chicken legs I used 4lbs but you can use significantly less.
- 1 bottle peach bbq sauce I used Steve's Paleo Goods
Ingredients

- In a large crockpot pour 1 cup of water on the bottom. This will help the chicken steam a bit and hold in all the moisture while cooking.
- Pour in bbq sauce as evenly as possible over the chicken.
- Turn the crockpot on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours.
- Enjoy!
